Swadlincote SNT: Weekly Round-Up 👮♂️🚔 It has been an incredibly busy and productive week for your Swadlincote Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT)! From road safety enforcement to youth engagement and local community chats, here is a breakdown of what we have been up to across the area: 🛣️ Road Safety & Enforcement E-Scooter Seizure: Officers seized an illegally ridden e-scooter this week. As a reminder, private e-scooters cannot legally be ridden on public roads, pavements, or cycle paths.National Community Speed Watch Day: We spent time visiting and supporting our fantastic local Speed Watch groups. Thank you to the dedicated volunteers helping us keep Swadlincote roads safer.🏫 School & Youth Engagement Mini Police Graduation: A massive congratulations to our Mini Police recruits who graduated at Three Trees Academy! You did yourselves and your school proud.Knife Crime Input: We visited Pennine Way Junior School to deliver an important educational session on the dangers and realities of knife crime.Staying Safe Session: The team dropped into St George's Primary School to deliver a "Staying Safe" presentation to the pupils.Youth Group Visits: We had fantastic fun meeting the Hartshorne Beavers and Newhall Cubs!☕ Community Catch-Ups & Advice We love escaping the station to chat with you face-to-face.
